Victoria Zackheim


Victoria Zackheim is author of The Bone Weaver and creator/editor of six anthologies, including The Other Woman, which she adapted to the theater and was presented in simultaneous readings on November 9, 2015, in One Night/One Play, at twenty-two theaters across the country. Her play Entangled was in development at Z Space in San Francisco. Victoria wrote Maidstone, a feature film about the IRA prison breakout in Northern Ireland, which is in the hands of director Peter Werner. She is working with mystery writer Anne Perry on a television series based on Perry's Thomas Pitt novels. Victoria wrote the documentary Where Birds Never Sang: The Story of Ravensbrück and Sachsenhausen Concentration Camps, which aired nationwide on PBS. She created Women's Voices, an event in which five authors present their work and discuss the craft of writing and the life of a writer. She teaches creative nonfiction/essay in the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program, is the founder of WriteTeachers workshops for writers, and is a San Francisco Library Laureate. Her book agent is Jill Marsal of Marsal Lyon Literary Agency; her film/theater agent is Andrea Cavallero of the Sandra Dijkstra Literary Agency.
