Sandra Raffaelli

Sandra Raffaelli didn’t know that she would become an entrepreneur, blending her desire to help others and her love of design into a successful career. She started as a teacher’s assistant in an elementary school in Chicago, working with students with special needs--including autism, cognitive disabilities and other health impairments. A few years later in 2014, she moved back home to Bogota, Colombia, where she founded aZul For Better Living, to unite both of her passions--fashion and helping people with disabilities. Her success in Bogota convinced her that she could replicate it in the States. She moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, and for two years worked with CareerSource Palm Beach County as a Disability Resource Coordinator, where she developed employment strategies and collaborated with countywide social services agencies to assist low-income adults with disabilities.
