Rosie Davis


Rosie Davis, the founder of Yellow Heart Memorial, was born in Garden Grove California, she is the youngest of four. She moved to New Mexico where she graduated high school and attended NMJC for her nursing degree. She relocated to Dallas Texas where she attended Texas laser institute to receive her medical skin specialist license. She is the mother of three. 

Rosie lost her mother, Mary Castro, on May 17, 2020, to COVID 19. Her grief turned into action, she found a way to bring communities together to honor their loved ones lost to COVID. She currently lives in Carrollton Texas where she works full time at Yellow Heart Memorial. She travels the nation to advocate for COVID victims, survivors, and long-haulers. She is also working with cities across the nation for permanent memorials. Today five have been approved with several pending. Yellow Heart Memorial has turned into an International movement.
