Paige Sturgeon


Paige was born and raised in San Diego, California. Upon graduating from Granite Hills School in 1987, he attended California State University, Fullerton where he received a degree in International Finance. After graduation, he moved back to San Diego and began his career in the mortgage industry. Paige has over 24 years of experience originating mortgages and is the Licensed Broker and Co-Owner of Granite Mortgage, Inc. Over the past two decades, he has developed long lasting relationships with clients, top producing realtors, and many different mortgage banks. These relationships have been built on commitment, communication, loyalty, passion, empathy, and integrity. His goal and desire are to ensure that the loan and home buying process is a smooth and positive experience for his clients.

 

The process of obtaining a mortgage in today's lending environment can be very stressful and overwhelming, especially with all of the documentation and disclosures that are now required. Paige prides himself on coaching and counseling his borrowers on what to expect throughout the transaction and being available to answer questions and concerns as they arise. He is proactive and tries to foresee potential problems before they arise, thereby overcoming any hurdles during the escrow time period.

Paige specializes in residential loans, one-to-four-unit properties, both for purchase and refinance. Since he has strong relationships with many mortgage banks, he has access to premier mortgage loan products, as well as to the industry's lowest interest rates. The loan products that Granite Mortgage offers are FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, Jumbo, and Reverse Mortgages. Paige also specializes in helping first time home buyers prepare and plan to buy a home in the future, even i-f they are not ready at the time of  their appointment.

 

Lastly, Paige counsels buyers on how to -fix and repair their credit reports, as well as how to increase their credit scores. This helps set borrowers up for the lowest interest rates and a faster, more efficient home loan approval. Paige has been married to his wife, Sonia, for 16 years. They currently reside in San Diego with their two boys. He is active in his church and enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
