Nicky Lama

As Country director at Eco Soap Bank Nepal, Nicky is leading the team by helping rural communities get access to much needed soaps, with the aim to reduce preventable illnesses in children by increasing hygiene education levels in primary schools, while employing financially marginalized women in the soap recycling process. Nicky serves as a Senior Analyst at VRock and Company, managing research and advisory projects supporting Nepal’s transition to Federalism. She holds a Masters in International Development from the London School of Economics, UK and has a BA in Sociology, Economics and Industrial Relations from Bangalore University, India. Nicky also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Liberal Arts from The Young India Fellowship Program.
