Marguerite Sweeney


Marguerite M. Sweeney joined the Office of the Indiana Attorney General in 1984 as a Deputy Attorney General in the Appeals section, before moving to the Tax Division, and then the Consumer Protection Division. Sweeney left the OAG in 1989 to work for the City of Indianapolis prosecuting zoning enforcement cases.

Sweeney returned to the OAG in 2002 as Section Chief of the Telephone Privacy section where she and her team enforce the popular Do-Not-Call, Do-Not-Fax and Autodialer Acts.
