Dr. Ditta Oliker

Ditta M. Oliker, Ph.D. began her career in the theater as a member of the producing staff at the Mark Taper Forum at the Los Angeles Music Center. After a personal tragedy sparked a desire to understand the roots of negative behavior, she returned to school to get her doctorate in clinical psychology.

Oliker's concept of the psychological survival system, developed over many years in private practice, is informed by her theater background. She has lectured on the subject at various universities and mental health facilities. She published her first book, Hide and Seek, in 2010. Oliker resides in the Los Angeles area.
