Since 2004, Jackie has been a member of the Board of Trustees for The National University System, which includes the Center for Integrative Health, founded in July 2007. In her tenure as a Trustee she has served as Vice Chair, assisted in the initial funding of the Center for Integrative Health and currently serves as the Chair of the Development committee.
Known as a health advocate and supporter of quality health education. Jackie began her career in North Texas as an advocate for persons with multiple sclerosis building support groups, heading community advocacy and education and raising money for research.

Jackie is a sought-after speaker at both local and national business events and has received numerous awards, including the United States Small Business Administration award for the Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year, finalist for Ernst & Youngs Entrepreneur of the Year, PR Weeks Public Relations Practitioner of the Year and The T Sectors teleFUSION 03 PR Leader of the Year.

Jacqueline earned a masters degree in science, graduating summa cum laude from Wright State University. She received her bachelors degree in psychology and liberal studies from California State University, Long Beach.
